Friends of ihuman

Who are we?

We are people who care about street kids and high risk youth.  We care that most of the youth are fighting addiction issues (cystal meth being the most recent and most devastating of the drugs). Some of  us know or have a family member or acquaintance that lives that life.  We know how devastating it is to lose a loved one to drugs and the street culture. All of us  want to help in some small way. 

What do we do?

i human has always been a grass roots organization – and the “friends of ihuman” is their grass roots support system.

By simply joining and becoming a member of this group, you have raised awareness and provided support.  The more “Friends” that ihuman has - the greater the lobbying power and sustainability the ihuman Society has.

Friends pay an annual membership fee of $10. We sincerely hope that you will also consider including a donation with the membership fee. Tax receipts are provided for donations over $20.00.

Friends may chose to provide services to the youths – we are presently looking for a dentist.  We are also looking for volunteers to help with renovations on our new building –  electrician, plumber, builders, painters, etc.  Renovations will start around June 16th, 2007.

Although most Friends are “members” only, a few of us help on committees,  and, if qualified, work hands on with the youth.  If you’d like become more involved, please let us know.

All “Friends” receive newsletters and are invited to local ihuman events.
